Often known as Bachelor's Jam...odd.<BR/><BR/>Alternate layers of red currants (on stalks) and sugar in a large glass jar with either a stopper, or seal - it has to be closed. Then pour over either vodka, if you're feeling Scandinavian, or brandy, if you're not. Seal up and leave in a cool place for three months, then strain and decant. Keep in the fridge.
