Princess Juliana, a dark-green, furry leaved, clump forming perennial. The flower, in its second flush, sits on a wiry stem, is hot orange, which adds much needed colour to the front of the border in late summer.
And to see geum at this time of year! Mine bloomed earlier, but then I bought it from a nursery...is this its usual bloom time, or is it a repeat-performance?
So sweet. When I lived far out in the country we had wild ones that were purple. We would pick them all spring and summer. Such fond mmories. smiles DarLy*~
