Aren't those cranes just fab?? I love Gunnera we've seen a lot of HUGE ones when we've been in Ireland over the years. I love the thought of having a huge patch of them, shady in the sun and umbrellas in the rain, they are brilliant !!

How lovely, Louise! I esp. like the one looking up through the canopy of trees!

Thanks for reading my post about Hydrangeas, Louise. I hope that you are able to grow these beauties as well.

I've not heard of oranges and lemons before but when I read the description I feel quite sure that we used to play something similar when I was a child...I just can't remember what it was called.

Dear Louise,
I've just discovered your blog and love your flowers. I also love your photo of the bronze status of children playing Oranges and Lemons. I wonder, may I use it to illustrate a story I'm writing for my (totally noncommercial) blog, Tell Me Another (josna.wordpress.com)? Of course I would credit you and your blog.
I won't do anything further until I hear from you.
Warm regards,
Josna
