TAKING A BREAK
I am taking a short break from the blog, but in the meantime I shall leave you with this photo. This bench is placed in a shady part of the garden; I do like sitting in this spot with a nice cup of tea, for a deserved rest, after working up a hard slog in the garden.
Please remember to look in again, as I shall be back, once I can prise myself off this bench!
I have many places where I can sit with a nice cuppa around the garden, in both sunny and shady spots, which include steps and tree stumps. Have you got an unusual place where you like to sit in your garden?

Well, I definitely don't have one of these, so I shall just come here when I feel like a break; sip my tea and smell the roses...I am sure there are some...somewhere around there....
enjoy your blogging break.....
Hi Louise,
I hope you are back from your blog break soon!
Your bench is lovely and the spot looks idyllic. I have added some interesting tree stumps to my garden and I have alovely arch seat that my dad made which is under the apple tree in the orchard and has my lovely clematis growing over it.

Tooks the hint of National Delurking week and decided to say, HELLO! Lovely picture :) At the moment my seating area is in the shade, which I prefer. I enjoy sitting in front of the desk in my shed, surveying all the seeds, feeds and project plans :)
Come back soon Louise. I shall miss you!
Looks like a lovely seat to take a break on! Hope to see you back again soon!
Enjoy your break Louise and I'll be looking out for your return!
All my resting spots are on the patio at the moment, which can get a tad too hot for comfort in the summer. I have rescued some of the wood from the ash tree that came down at the side of the house last summer and am trying to work out how to convert it into a nice bench for a shady spot in the garden. I doubt whether I will have got any further by the time you get back!
On the plot it'll be on the pallet patio. I'll do a specific entry come the summer!
LOUISE! You are missed. But judging from the view by that pretty bench, I can see why it may be a while. What is that plant in the foreground? Perhaps it's a trick of the light, but the plant's colouring is gorgeous.
Have a great break Louise,
see you soon

In the warm weather I like to sit at my picnic table under the shelter of a large canvas umbrella. I found your blog today and am looking forward to reading past entries. Hope that you are enjoying this break. This looks like a wonderful place to hang out. thank-you Louise.
I hope you have a lovely rest and we will look forward to welcoming you back!
Enjoy your break and do hurry back.
I love the photo of your place to sit in the garden. I shall be right over with some rosemary cookies to share with you!
i hope you have a good break then! look forward to your return :)
Hi Louise,
I haven't seen you around and now I know why!
I'd have a hard time moving off this bench too. Your surroundings are idyllic.
Rest up and come back to blogland when you are ready!
Oh Louise, your bench and garden spot is beautiful. I have so many plans for little spots around the yard and garden but must sit on the back burner.
Have a nice break and we'll see you soon.
Hope you're enjoying your break, Louise. I hope also you were able to get out in your garden this weekend as it's been such lovely weather, and maybe rest awhile in your lovely corner on your bench. Jackie Mx
That bench looks very inviting, even better with a cup of tea and a slice of cake! In the summer I just take out a picnic rug and sit on the grass wherever the sun happens to be but I'd love a garden bench like yours. Hope you're having a lovely relaxing break. See you soon!
...'hope the bench is fun and all is well there.. looking forward to your next blogland visit :)
Happy Valentine's Day Louise....
Hi Elaine, thanks so much for paying my blog a visit, I am always so pleased to get new readers. I look forward to more comments from you. x
Hi Louise - it looks like you're getting off your bench at last. I hope you've enjoyed your break and are coming back to blogland all refreshed and raring to go...
Hi Jackie M, as ever I appreciate all comments left! x
Such important advice! we can spend all our time in the garden beavering away at stuff that must get done, without admiring it. I sit on the corner of a raised bed, drink my tea, and watch the birdies!
Enjoy your rest! I always have to take a break from gardening and sit back and relax or refocus on other things from time to time. Even great intrests need breaks! ENJOY
