my photoGEUMPrincess Juliana, a dark-green, furry leaved, clump forming perennial. The flower, in its second flush, sits on a wiry stem, is hot orange, which adds much needed colour to the front of the border in late summer.A little gem!

What an unusual colour!
It's a lovely delicate flower, very pretty!
How nice to see you back, Louise...
And to see geum at this time of year! Mine bloomed earlier, but then I bought it from a nursery...is this its usual bloom time, or is it a repeat-performance?
Goodness, Louise, what a gorgeous little flower - like a rare gem :-)
It's beautiful...and you're back.
I don't recall ever seeing this flower before. It has such a bright, striking colour that would be wonderful in a flower bed.

Beautiful! I have some Geums but not in that colour.
Amazingly though..I have a foxglove just coming into bloom..and my mum has cowslips in flower..how weird is that?!!!

So sweet. When I lived far out in the country we had wild ones that were purple. We would pick them all spring and summer. Such fond mmories.

The perfect Halloween orange!
Quite a vivid hue. I would love to have something like that in my garden. I have orange colour mums, but he hue is much more muted.
What a wonderful little gem of a flower! I just love its orange hue!
You must have a splendid garden! I wish mine were so, but I haven't had much time or inclination this year to devote to it. The wildlife doesn't seem to mind, however.

hope all is well with you.
Beautiful picture, I'm fond of guems myself but they don't seem to thrive in my garden.
Like a red buttercup.

Yo Louise: where you at?
Lovely photo. I had some Geums in my last garden, but don't here. After seeing your photo, I think I should rectify that.
Very pretty flower...wish mine geum would come into flower again.
