MAGPIES AND THE WINNER OF MY GIVEAWAY

Sal from Sals Snippets, it's you!

Yes, you guessed it, the nuisance factor in my garden, is Magpies!

Like any clever thief, as soon as your backs turned, will come in and steal what's yours, or in this case the Robins!

Thanks to everyone who had a guess.

oh aren't they just nuisances! I was walking in the sleet in the park yesterday and saw finches and tits in the trees and put out some food. As soon as my back was turned the birds swooped down to feed - but it was the magpies!

I'm not surprised! I see lots at the allotments, and thankfully just a couple out back. I love the way that they bounce and strut around! Flighty xx

Oh they may be a nuisance, but so beautiful too... one landed just outside my sister's window yesterday whilst we were busy unpacking boxes and it was a very welcome surprise to see him peering through the window at us - made me laugh!! They also make me laugh when they sit in my aunt's walnut tree conversing with her siamese cat, you should hear the conversations that they manage to strike up with each other!
