my photo
... now here's proof I have a fox in the garden!
Can you believe this urban fox was quite happily sunning itself on a bare patch in our garden. I managed to take this photo through the window. Unfortunately it sensed movement, was spooked, and took off like a bullet into the undergrowth.
Just a relief I don't keep chickens!

Oh! He does look a little startled at getting his picture snapped!
You must be well pleased! I've not seen much of ours since that memorable encounter with 'Missy' early in the year. xx
How wonderful to be able to capture him with the camera like that. What fun!
Oh, we had a cute fox in our neighborhood also, until one day we saw him smashed on the street :(
We miss him terribly.
Wow, how lovely, you were lucky to catch him!
How wonderful to have such a beautiful fox in your garden and then to be able to get a photo of him!

Lovely photo of the fox in your garden ~ extra special when you have your camera at the ready for such a sighting!
For some reason I just love foxes! I saw one near my car once. No, they aren't compatible with chickens, but they are really adorable in some ways.
That is the sweetest animal. Red fox are living on Long Island, but I have never seen one near my house. I did see many of them in Maine, last summer when I was up in Bar Harbor. They are wonderful gifts in Nature.
You out smarted a fox Louise! This is a wonderful capture. I've tried to get pics of these guys but their eyes always play tricks with my camera and come out like little blobs of light. Again...wonderful. Thank-you for always being right on. oxo
Oh my goodness! What an awesome shot! And what an amazing look in his eye.
I adore foxes and always feel slightly sorry for them..
I would feel very privileged to see a fox in our garden.. though we do have evidence of a badger and so does our neighbour who curses when it digs up her lawn looking for worms.
Michele xx
You did well to capture him..I must admit I hate them..Tasmania was fox free until about 3 yrs ago..until some idiots released them from Vic..now we are losing our wildlife before our eyes :(
