PINK

These are a selection of pink plants from my recent trip to Ramster gardens. The rhododendron above reminds me of strawberry ripple ice-cream.

I think this pink azalea would go very well with a dark purple flower, any ideas?

This rhododendron looks lovely against the burgundy of the Japanese maple.

I love colour clashes in a garden. I like to see hot pink with orange.

The pinks of the flowers are so vibrant Louise. Would a purple cornflower go well with the pink azalea?

I love colour collisions too-especially in collections of azaleas. Fab pictures Louise.

Purple and pink are great together! A lighter shade of lavender is a great combo with lighter pinks too!

Hi Louise, I have always planned to make a ' White' garden or a blue one...but never ever mananged it yet! I like a bit of clash too..or is it that I buy and have poke it in where it fits and sometimes that means a 'clash'-well I don't care......
I love all of your photos and it has made me think that I really do need a bit more flower in my garden ~ I seem to have too much foliage!

YOur ideas are good ones, pink and purple would complement each other beautifully.

I have a craving for strawberry ice cream now....I wonder why?!

Oh yes clashing colours are a must in the garden.. I love acid greens and red and blues.. ouch.. but effective!
Have you ever been to Great Dixter..?
Christopher Lloyd broke all the rules when it came to colour combinations and his gardens are fabulous because of this..
