THE CALENDAR - PART ONE
I knew when Summer breathed
Not by the flowers that wreathed
The sedge by the water's edge
Or gold
Of the wold
Or white and rose of the hedge
But because in a wooden box
In the window at Mrs Mocks
There were white-winged shuttlecocks.

Gosh!
I just sent you the same award toy already have.
Never mind.
You deserve it twice.
Greetings from New York.
What a fabulous poem! I love the way the words wind from line to line - my favourite type.
Where do you live again? That is far and away the most spectacular finch I have ever seen!
How fortunate you are to witness such splendour in your midst.

Everything here is so beautiful! I haven't been here for a while and will have to make sure I come back again soon!
That is so beautiful!
Oh what a happy looking rose! Blooming with abandon.
Funny ending! Cute poem...
